Hey guys! I'm just going to do a quick post today. I'm slammed with art projects, studying for a couple quizzes & a midterm, and two 5 page papers. The curriculum for my program is changing next year, so I'll have to look into how it affects me. Also I'm still thinking about taking on a minor in a non-art related field. I'm considering Japanese or Spanish. We'll see :P
Anyways, back to blog business. I did this look a few weeks ago. I just felt like wearing something different to school that day.
Do you like the bigger pictures?
On the eyes:
-Clinique gel liner winged out on the top lashline
-Mac carbon eyeshadow to set top eyeliner
-NYX slim pencil liner in electric blue winged out on the waterline
-Mac electric eel eyeshadow, used to set the blue liner
-LashBlast volume on top and lower lashes
On my face:
-Mac studio sculpt foundation in NW 20
-Mac select cover up concealer in NW 20
-Ulta blush in fame
-Mac eyeshadow in jest used as a highlight
On my lips:
-Mac quiet, please lipstick
Hope you guys like this look! Also, I don't think I've mentioned it on here yet. This summer I'm going to Chicago to take a class (or perhaps multiple classes) at MakeUp First school of makeup artistry. I love makeup and I figured it would be a great thing to do on the side with school.

Purple and Gold makeup
This is a look I did a few weeks ago and I actually got quite a few compliments. I find most purple eyeshadows pretty flattering on me. For this look I mixed shadows from my 88 palette and some from MAC. I think I used parfait amour and satellite dreams.
I also gave my first go at making fried rice a few weeks ago. It came out alright. The rice was a little hard, but the flavor was nice. Next time I won't toast the rice for so long!
Has anyone else tried to make anything new lately?

Youknowit.com Avatar contact lenses review
Hey guys! I'm finally trying to finish reviews for all the contacts I got from youknowit! These are the Avatar contact lenses. I really like the colors in this pair of lenses, but I didn't find them very comfortable. I do, however, think they are good to use for photos and makeup contest entries. The other thing I don't particularly like about these is that they can make your pupils look uneven, which is common for colored contacts (at least in my experience).
Obviously these are not for everyday use, so I did a super quick "dead/creepy-ish" makeup look when I had them on. I may or may not do an actual Avatar makeup look when I have the time to do so.
I'm wearing Sugarpill's Love+ on my lower lash line and MAC creme d' Nude on my lips
Overall, I'd say if you're looking at wearing these for multiple hours at a time to find something more comfortable. If you're just taking a few pictures for fun or a youtube/blogger makeup entry then these are fine since they are inexpensive and not uber bothersome.
Hope this is helpful to anyone looking for weird contacts!
